Patient Care Tech - Admit Recovery Unit, Days
Overview:
Schedule Details: 3 12-hour shifts rotating between 6AM-6:30PM & 8AM-8:30PM. No weekends required.
Piedmont Rockdale is a 161-bed, acute care, not-for profit community hospital in Conyers that has provided compassionate, patient-centered care to Rockdale County and surrounding communities since 1954.
We offer 24-hour emergency services, including interventional cardiology, critical care, obstetrics, and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). We are a Primary Stroke Center with on-site neurohospitalists. In addition to traditional medical and surgical services, we proudly provide subspecialized care from fellowship-trained providers in advanced gastroenterology and medical and surgical oncology as well as colorectal, breast, thoracic, orthopedic and robotic surgery.
Responsibilities:
The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy. Qualifications:Education
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred
Work Experience
- No experience required
- 1 year of patient care experience Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- BLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
- CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
- Certification from a Patient Care Technician program Preferred
