Patient Services Rep - MedSurg, Days
Overview:
Augusta facility, position is full-time, five 8-hour shifts per week, day shift.
Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the RN, Charge Nurse, or Clinical Manager, the Patient Services Concierge performs administrative and customer service responsibilities that support efficient unit operations and promote a welcoming, professional experience for patients, families, visitors, and staff. Duties include tasks such as answering phones, answering patient call lights, assisting with admissions and discharge, providing customer service to family members of patients, supporting nurses and patient care techs, scheduling labs and/or testing, ordering supplies on the unit.
Qualifications:
Education- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- Previous customer service experience Required
- At least one year of customer service experience Preferred
- Previous hospital experience Preferred
