Responsibilities: Serves as a Call Center agent to support for the Patient Access Registration Call Center within Piedmont Healthcare. Performs Registration activities in a remote environment to ensure patient accounts are complete with valid insurance coverage and current demographic/clinical data. Calculates patient financial responsibility, presents patient financial options/requirements and processes patient payments. Performs functions for multiple sites across Piedmont Healthcare and includes various services lines including emergency department, L&D, and assigned Outpatient locations. Qualifications: Education
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- 1 year exp in one of the following: Required
- Healthcare Revenue Cycle Required or
- Clinical role Required or
- Related clerical accounting/finance/retail/customer service Required
- 3 years of healthcare Revenue Cycle/Call Center experience Preferred
- Prior Epic experience Preferred
- None Required
- Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association Preferred or
- Certified Revenue Cycle Representative Preferred
