Fitness Instructor, PRN

Overview:

Required Hours: instructor will teach a class on Thursdays, shift would be 10am 11:15am.

Responsibilities:

Provides instruction in fitness and/or education classes to all age levels from pediatric to geriatric. Individual presents health education information and aids in development of new fitness and wellness related programs.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of 4 year degree in Exercise Science or related field Required or
• Have a current certification from a National Accredited Instructor certification Required

Work Experience

• 1 year of instructional experience in a wellness setting Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation Required
• ACSM - Clinical Exercise Specialist Preferred or
• ALSM Preferred or
• AFAA - Athletics and Fitness Association of America Preferred or
• ACE - American Council on Exercise Preferred or
• NDEITA - National Dance-Exercise Instructors Training Association Preferred or
• Institutes for Aerobics Research Preferred
