This position is in-person on the Cardiac Telemetry unit at our Augusta facility. The position is full-time, three 12-hour shifts per week, day shift.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the RN, Charge Nurse, or Clinical Manager, the Patient Services Concierge performs administrative and customer service responsibilities that support efficient unit operations and promote a welcoming, professional experience for patients, families, visitors, and staff.
Duties include tasks performed by a unit clerk, such as answering phones, answering patient call lights, assisting with admissions and discharge, providing customer service to family members of patients, supporting nurses and patient care techs, scheduling labs and/or testing, ordering supplies on the unit.
The person selected for this role is the first face that visitors, vendors, physicians, and staff will see when entering the unit, so being attentive, observant, and having good customer service skills are mandatory.
Qualifications
Education
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
Work Experience
- Previous customer service experience required
- At least one year of customer service experience required
- Previous hospital experience preferred
