Responsibilities:
Responsible and accountable for the start-up activities of clinical research protocols initiated at Piedmont. Projects will span service lines and operational, clinical and financial areas and will be determined based on researchers' interest and engagement.
Qualifications:
Education- Bachelors Degree from a recognized college or university in a healthcare discipline Required or
- In Lieu of degree six (6) years of clinical research, healthcare or related field Required
Work Experience
- 5 years experience in all aspects of clinical research including study budgeting, phase I-IV research studies, screening, implementation and execution of research studies, regulatory and contracting Required or
- In lieu of degree eleven (11) years of experience in all aspects of clinical research including study budgeting, phase I-IV research studies, screening, implementation and execution of research studies, regulatory and contracting Required
- Clinical trial (investigational drug and/or device) experience Required and
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and IRB processes Required
- Community and academic experience in research Preferred
