Patient Care Tech - MedSurg, FT, Nights

Overview:

This position is located at our facility in Thomson, GA. The requirement is 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, including rotations of weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy. Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required

Work Experience

• 1 year of patient care experience in a facility setting required

Licenses and Certifications

• BLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
• Certification from a Patient Care Technician program Preferred
