Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain various sewing machines (flatbed, cylinder bed, overlock).
- Read and interpret work orders, patterns, measurements, and specifications.
- Cut, sew, and assemble garment parts such as sleeves, collars, seams.
- Thread machines, change needles, and perform routine cleaning.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure quality standards.
- Detect and repair basic machine faults; schedule repairs when needed.
- Align fabric pieces and monitor machine operation for stitching issues.
- Maintain accurate production records and report issues to supervisors.
Skills and Qualifications
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
- Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting machine and production issues.
