Summary

The Warehouseman is responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

Essential Functions

1. Complete processes for outgoing and incoming shipments.

2. Verifies and unloads incoming shipments.

3. Performs dock audits for outgoing shipments.

4. Pulls rolls for cut orders and/or transfers.

5. Data entry of outgoing and incoming shipments into Jomar System.

6. Consolidates waste and completes documentation.

7. Performs other duties assigned by management.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a plant environment. This role routinely uses various machinery including forklifts, manlifts, and chariots.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, sit, walk, stand, and hear. The employee will be required to reach with hands and arms, push, pull and/or lift, climb or balance, kneel and frequently lift to 50 lbs. Repetitive hand actions, including grasping and fine manipulations, is an essential part of the job’s physical demands.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel
Little to no travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Current Forklift Certification
