Summary/Objective
Process Yarn received from Twisting and Vortex frames.
Essential Functions

- Ability to navigate through various computer systems such as JOMAR.
- Must learn and differentiate yarn counts and cone colors.
- Must place racks of yarn in the Xorella and then start the Xorella.
- Must remove racks of yarn from the Xorella and properly pack yarn on designated pallets.
- Must properly wrap pallets of yarn, make tickets for each pallet and place in warehouse for pickup
- Must maintain good housekeeping standards.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a manufacturing environment. The candidate is frequently exposed to noise, dust and various chemicals, and moving mechanical parts requiring the use of appropriate personal protective equipment including safety glasses, hearing protection and steel toe shoes.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, sit, walk, stand, and hear. The employee will be required to reach with hands and arms, push, pull and/or lift, climb or balance, kneel and frequently lift to 50 lbs. Repetitive hand actions, including grasping and fine manipulations, is an essential part of the job’s physical demands.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Weekends and overtime may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Little to no travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills.
