Summary/Objective
The Human Resources Manager partners with corporate and plant leadership to develop and implement human resources strategies, policies, and programs that support business objectives and workforce needs. The role is responsible for employee relations, talent management, compensation and benefits administration, compliance, and organizational development while promoting a positive workplace culture and mitigating employment-related risk.

- Partner with Corporate and plant leadership to develop and implement human resources strategies, policies, and programs that support business objectives and workforce needs.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee development, succession planning, and retention initiatives to attract and retain a qualified workforce.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees regarding employee relations, performance management, investigations, corrective actions, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
- Administer compensation, benefits, leave programs, and other employee programs in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements, including maintenance of required records and reports.
- Maintain and analyze HR metrics, workforce data, and HRIS records to support decision-making and organizational effectiveness.
- Lead employee engagement, communication, training, and organizational development initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture and continuous improvement.
- Partner with operations and safety leadership to support workforce planning, workplace safety initiatives, and operational goals.
- Recommend and implement improvements to HR processes, programs, and policies to enhance efficiency, compliance, and employee experience.
- Supervise, coach, and develop HR staff, as applicable.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This position operates in both a professional office environment and a manufacturing facility. The employee will regularly interact with employees, supervisors, and managers in office and production settings. While performing duties in manufacturing areas, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, varying temperatures, noise levels, and other conditions typical of a manufacturing environment. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required when entering designated production areas. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and other business technologies.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively, sit, stand, walk, and hear. The employee must frequently move throughout office and manufacturing areas, conduct meetings, and observe workplace activities. The employee may occasionally be required to reach, stoop, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and lift and/or move items weighing up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. However, this position requires flexibility to support manufacturing operations across multiple shifts and may require occasional work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet business needs.
Travel
Little to no travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of HR Experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master’s Degree.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)
