Summary/Objective

The Wrapper Operator is responsible for supporting the Quality Assurance Inspection department.

Essential Functions

  1. Maintains inventory and supplies at inspection tables in order maximize efficiency.
  2. Responsible for weighing and wrapping rolls in plastic, placing rolls on the correct pallets, and transporting pallets to the correct location within the warehouse.
  3. Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the Quality Assurance Inspection area.
  4. Data Entry.
  5. Other duties assigned by management.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a manufacturing environment. This role routinely standard office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers. The candidate is frequently exposed to noise, dust and various chemicals, and moving mechanical parts requiring the use of appropriate personal protective equipment including safety glasses, hearing protection and non-skid shoes.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, sit, walk, stand, and hear. This employee may be required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch and occasionally lift up to 50 Ibs.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 10pm to 8am. Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel
Little to no travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

  1. High School Diploma or GED


Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Forklift Certification
  2. One year of manufacturing experience
