Talent Acquisition Business Partner will be responsible for executing external and internal talent acquisition for hourly, and salaried positions across an assigned area, with a significant emphasis on high-volume, skilled trade recruitment (e.g., diesel mechanics, plant maintenance, heavy equipment operators, electricians) for quarries and service shops.

What You’ll Do:
Execute Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the entire recruiting process from sourcing strategy development and screening to interviewing, scheduling, and candidate communication.
Develop Sourcing Strategies: Create and execute highly effective sourcing plans, specifically leveraging trade schools and skilled trade programs, community partnerships, job boards (such as LinkedIn and Indeed), and relationship-building with passive candidates to attract trades talent.
Drive Talent Pipelines: Build and maintain robust external skilled talent pipelines to meet current and future business needs.
Achieve Metrics: Execute recruitment plans to achieve key TA metrics, including candidate quality, time-to-offer efficiency, and long-term retention.
Ensure Compliance: Maintain consistency, efficiency, and compliance with all talent acquisition best practices and legal requirements.
Be a Brand Advocate: Participate in employer branding initiatives, focusing on enhancing Vulcan’s reputation among the talent communities with a significant focus on the skilled trades community.

Qualifications
What You'll Need:
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Six (6) or more years of relevant talent acquisition experience is desired.
Core Skills: Proven experience in a consultative recruiting role, strong communication skills, proficiency in leveraging data, and process-oriented experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), jobs platforms, and other sourcing tools.
