POSITION: DIRECTOR OF INSTITUTIONAL EFFECTIVENESS
REPORTS TO: Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness & Operations
SALARY: Mid to Upper $70’s annually, depending on education and qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for coordinating the development of the college’s program goals, objectives, policies, and standards for quality assurance for the mission and purposes of all department and academic division’s functions of the college; coordinating and overseeing the strategic planning process; analyzing and assessing the effectiveness of existing programs; designing and executing a plan for maintaining SACSCOC, and supporting various programmatic accreditation reaffirmations; maintaining components of the Perkins Grant by creating the bi-annual PLANAR, creating the annual Perkins Budget and tracking all expenditures per federal law; and provide supporting documentation for other grants and other funding alternatives; and other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in education, business management, or a closely related field;
· Three (3) years of work experience in postsecondary education.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
· Knowledge of SACSCOC accreditation and program-specific accreditation standards
· Meticulous and strategic, able to see the whole picture while also paying attention to every detail
· Knowledge of Perkins Federal Grant
· Knowledge of strategic planning practices and procedures
· Knowledge of institutional effectiveness assessment strategies
· Knowledge of policies and procedures related to the operation of postsecondary institutions and specifically, two year or technical colleges
· Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with the public
· Effective oral and written communication skills
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and job-related software programs
· Effective decision making and problem-solving skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (in addition to minimum and competencies):
· Master’s degree in education, business management, or a closely related field;
· Work experience in research and planning;
· Experience in: SACSCOC, Internal Control Visits focusing on Perkins requirements and expenditures, Strategic Planning, KMS reports, Blue survey software, JobsEq software, and Intellimas software.

This position is available to telework one day per week after six (6) months of employment.
