West Georgia Technical College offers more than 130 diploma, certificate, and degree programs in the most in-demand healthcare, business, technical, and industrial fields. Using state-of-the-art technology and equipment is one of the ways that WGTC makes students as proficient and current as they can be. West Georgia Tech’s student services also offer up-to-date support in all areas. WGTC’s Jobweb, for example, helps both current students and alumni to find employment through a comprehensive online service. Other student services include Mentor Connection, a program whereby older students mentor younger ones, and disability services. WGTC is also always revising its course and degree offerings to match the current economic and vocational needs of the area. Local advisory boards help keep WGTC apprised of such industry changes.
