Preferred Qualifications:

Valid, current Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) School Counselor Certificate.

Master's degree or higher in School Counseling, Counselor Education, or a closely related field.

Ten (10) or more years of service as a school counselor.

Five (5) or more years of service as a school counselor serving students in grades 9–12.

Two (2) or more years of employment within a correctional education program.

Ten(10) or more years of combined educational experience.

Notes: The GA PSC counseling certification is required prior to hire, and this is a Statewide School Counselor Position.
