Sales Coordinator

Winpak Films is seeking a Sales Coordinator to join the Customer Service team based out of Senoia, Georgia. The Sales Coordinator serves as the frontline contact for our valued customers. This pivotal role involves timely processing, organization, and communication of information between external and internal teams. Lastly, you will deliver exceptional communication with customers and sales staff, support the development and maintenance of critical business processes, and embody Winpak Films’ commitment to superior quality and responsiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify customer purchase order requirements and promptly notify customers and sales if there are any issues.
- Accurately calculate order specifics including roll outer diameter, footage, weight, units per box/roll, and weight per thousand units.
- Enter customer orders within 24 hours, including product specifications for new items and updates to the specification database following approved changes.
- Identify and escalate any pricing discrepancies to the Pricing Database Coordinator, National Sales Manager, or Sales Director for approval.
- Coordinate seamlessly between Production Control, Production, Sales, Shipping, Credit, Purchasing, and Accounting to ensure all customer needs are fulfilled.
- Log completed orders in the shipping log and actively manage open order reports to update status, close out, or change delivery dates as necessary.
- Enter and process customer complaints, authorization for return goods, and corrective actions within 24 hours, authorizing returns as per company policy.
- Actively engage in inside sales by soliciting new orders from existing house accounts and assisting with the sale of excess inventory and sample materials.
- Answer phones promptly, respond to customer and sales inquiries the same day, and communicate credit holds or issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock reports, prepare and distribu reports for the Sales team and customers.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of sales and/or customer service experience
- 3+ years of proficiency experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- 3+ years of experience in a role that required you to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic work environment
- 3+ years of experience in a role that required exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- 1+ years of experience with sales order processing and logistics coordination
- 1+ years of experience with data entry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post secondary education in Business Administration or a related field
- Familiarity with ERP systems and other order management software
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and SQF standards
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments
Additional Details:
- Shift Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am -5:00pm
- Work Location: 100% onsite in Senoia, GA
