Winpak Films Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Finance and Accounting team based out of Senoia, Georgia.

In this role, you’ll take the lead in managing our cost accounting systems to ensure we accurately capture and analyze the costs involved in producing our flexible films and conversion operations.

Our production and converting processes are complex, and you’ll have the opportunity to dive deep into every stage—from raw materials to finished product—gaining a full 360° view of how we operate. You’ll play a key role in identifying opportunities for efficiency, championing continuous improvement, and making an impact across the organization.

Reporting directly to the Controller you’ll collaborate closely with our operations, technical, and sales teams—turning data into insights and insights into action. If you’re driven, detail-oriented, and excited to influence decisions that shape our business, we’d love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities:

Costing System Management & Process Improvement

  • Oversee and enhance the company’s standard costing system, recommending process or system changes as needed.
  • Transform costing capabilities to dynamically respond to changes in resin, scrap, labor, packaging, and transportation costs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and implement manufacturing process improvements that impact product costing and competitiveness.

Cost Analysis, Reporting & Decision Support

  • Analyze actual manufacturing and production costs, comparing them to standard costs, and present findings to management.
  • Create cost models, conduct “what-if” analyses, and assess the impact of changes in materials, methods, or product structure.
  • Review gross margins, pricing, and market/product contributions to recommend margin improvement opportunities.

Financial Operations & Compliance

  • Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including reporting and audits.
  • Support quoting and pricing reviews by verifying costs and assigning gross margins.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses, special projects, and other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Engineering considered).
  • 3+ years of experience working analyzing and interpreting and working with large data sets
  • 3+ years of experience with costing, fixed asset accounting, basic accounting, inventory control, month-end reporting, and general ledger reporting.
  • 3+ years of experience partnering with cross functional teams such as production, sales, and operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading, coaching and mentoring junior team members
  • Experience supporting financial teams within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience collaborating with senior leadership & presenting reports and findings

  • This is a full-time permanent position & the selected candidate will work onsite
  • The position is located in Senoia, Georgia
