Winpak Films is seeking a Senior Production Manager – Extrusion to join the Operations team based out of Senoia, GA on a full-time onsite schedule. In this role, you will lead all aspects of the extrusion department, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of high-quality film. You will provide strong leadership to a large multi-shift workforce, oversee operational assets valued at over $50MM, and support more than $50MM in annual revenue. By driving Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives, you will help ensure Winpak continues to deliver on its promise of world-class quality, safety, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities / What you will do
• Champion a zero-incident safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, and company standards.
• Lead day-to-day operations of the extrusion department, including production scheduling and workforce management.
• Develop, coach, and mentor supervisors and operators to build a high-performing team.
• Drive operational excellence by implementing Lean and Six Sigma practices.
• Optimize costs by managing labor utilization, raw material yields, and departmental budgets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Maintenance, Quality, and Site Leadership to ensure uptime, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Support and lead capital investment projects to increase capacity and reduce cost.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in manufacturing management.
• Supervisory experience in a production environment.
• Proven track record of people leadership and development.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production software systems.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in plastics or film extrusion.
• Knowledge of extrusion operations and converting processes.
• Familiarity with Safe Quality Food (SQF) systems.
• Experience leading teams in a 24/7 production environment.
• Advanced skills in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.

Additional Details
This position is for a full-time, onsite role in Senoia, GA.
• Schedule: 60% office, 40% production floor with exposure to machinery, temperature extremes, and heights.
• Physical Demands: Regularly requires standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Travel: Limited, as required by business needs.
