Storeroom Attendant

Winpak Films is looking for a Storeroom Attendant to join their Maintenance team based out of Senoia, Georgia. In this role you will be responsible for the organization, control, and distribution of maintenance spare parts and MRO inventory in a high-volume, 24/7 manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in supporting equipment uptime by ensuring technicians have immediate access to the correct parts, tools, and materials when needed.
The position requires strong attention to detail, urgency, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced industrial setting while maintaining accurate inventory records within the CMMS system.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Control & Organization
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure storeroom environment
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts and materials
- Accurately label, bin, and store inventory in designated locations
- Perform cycle counts and assist with full inventory audits
- Monitor stock levels and report low or critical inventory items
Parts Issuing & Support
- Issue parts to maintenance and production personnel in a timely manner
- Ensure proper documentation of all parts issued and returned
- Assist technicians in identifying and locating required parts
- Support urgent breakdown situations by prioritizing critical part requests
CMMS & Documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the CMMS system
- Record all transactions (receipts, issues, adjustments) in real time
- Assist in maintaining accurate min/max levels and reorder points
- Track usage trends and support spare parts optimization efforts
Receiving & Vendor Coordination
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
- Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or incorrect items
- Coordinate with Maintenance Buyer/Planner on backorders and critical deliveries
- Assist with expediting urgent parts when required
Housekeeping & Compliance
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the storeroom
- Ensure proper storage of parts, including critical spares and sensitive components
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Support audit readiness (SQF, IMS, internal audits) through proper storage and documentation
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years experience in a storeroom, warehouse, or industrial environment preferred
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems or CMMS
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate material handling equipment (forklift/pallet jack/overhead hoist preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment
- Familiarity with MRO inventory and spare parts management
- Experience with CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo, MP2, Micromain, Movex, etc.)
- Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical components
