- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school; AND/OR
- 3–5+ years of related experience and/or training; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, PLC, electrical, and fabrication systems
- Strong electrical knowledge with experience diagnosing and resolving issues
- Understanding of industrial electrical standards and local codes
- Basic knowledge of arc flash safety standards
- Proficiency in using hand tools for repairs and maintenance
- Ability to navigate computer systems to manage work orders and source repair parts efficiently.
- Current South Carolina Master Electrician license - preferred
- Troubleshoot and repair automated metalworking machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Install electrical circuits for 120V, 230V, and 480V systems in compliance with industry standards
- Plan and execute electrical installations based on machine nameplate specifications
- Bend and install electrical conduit, wire breaker panels, and junction boxes, ensuring proper termination of all wiring
- Maintain and troubleshoot main switchgear panels to support facility operations
- Install and maintain all plant lighting for a safe and efficient work environment
- Update and maintain one-line drawings for the main electrical system, tracing and labeling individual circuits in panels
- Support other facility maintenance tasks as needed
- Collaborate within a team environment to achieve facility maintenance goals
- Uphold 5S standards in all maintenance and facility areas
- Perform additional duties as assigned
