MAU is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for our client in Gainesville, GA. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will ensure facility equipment and systems operate reliably through hands-on troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical maintenance, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, with eligibility for permanent hire after 90 days.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2–3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a similar environment
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and diagrams
- Basic competency in the English language
- Must obtain and maintain certification for powered industrial vehicles and overhead crane operation within 30 days of hire
- Associate’s degree in Maintenance Technology
- 2–5 years of demonstrated maintenance experience in a similar environment
- Experience troubleshooting refrigeration systems
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance processes
- Experience with mechanical systems troubleshooting
- Proficiency with 120/208/480 voltage (three-phase and single-phase)
- Ability to work safely with overhead cranes, forklifts, RTVs, booms, and scissor lifts
- Understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
- Maintain and repair facility-related equipment and building systems
- Observe and troubleshoot equipment operations to detect and correct malfunctions
- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, including conveyors, ovens, PLCs, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Operate machine shop tools such as presses, drills, and welding equipment
- Ensure safe and compliant operation of lifting and transport equipment
- Comply with quality and environmental standards (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001)
- Execute special projects and additional tasks as assigned
- Work performed in a manufacturing plant environment
- Ability to withstand extreme temperatures and stand for up to 8 hours
- Dexterity for handling tools and controls
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- Visual requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception and the ability to focus
