As a Quality Technician, you will inspect raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure they meet company and regulatory standards, document results, and support continuous quality improvements. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of quality experience
- Familiarity with SAP or other Warehouse Management Systems
- Proficient with Office 365
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods, walk up to 5 miles per day, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in cold environments (0–37°F)
- Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing experience – preferred
- Background in food safety and defense – preferred
- Inspect and approve incoming materials by verifying specifications and conducting visual and weight-based tests; reject and return non-conforming materials
- Apply FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles for inventory control and conduct regular cycle counts
- Inspect in-process products to ensure compliance with specifications, perform quality tests, and communicate necessary adjustments to the operations supervisor
- Evaluate and approve finished products through final inspections; identify items requiring rework and confirm quality post-rework
- Accurately document inspection results, summarize rework and waste data, and enter findings into the quality database
- Ensure proper functioning of measurement equipment by adhering to calibration schedules, operating procedures, and requesting maintenance when necessary
- Promote a safe and compliant work environment by following company policies and legal regulations
- Manage and conduct environmental monitoring program (EMP) swabbing activities, including daily and project-based plans
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support overall operational objectives
