As a Total Rewards Specialist, you will manage payroll, benefits administration, and employee leave programs while ensuring compliance with payroll-related policies and regulations. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong understanding of payroll, benefits, and tax regulations
  • Experience with FMLA, ADA, STD, LTD, and Workers’ Compensation administration
  • Proficiency in ADP and MS Office tools
  • Knowledge of wage garnishments, benefit plans, and accounting principles
  • Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and planning skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • High level of professionalism, flexibility, and communication skills
What You’ll Do as a Total Rewards Specialist:
  • Process US and Canadian payrolls (weekly/semi-monthly) using ADP
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state wage laws
  • Handle payroll adjustments, tax setups, garnishments, and 401(k) administration
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and review benefit billings for accuracy
  • Conduct payroll and benefits audits; recommend corrective actions
  • Support open enrollment, employee changes, and terminations
  • Present benefits information during onboarding and maintain payroll records
  • Administer FMLA, STD, LTD, Workers’ Comp, and ADA leave processes
  • Communicate with third-party administrators, legal, and internal departments
  • Coordinate approvals and denials for all leave-related requests
  • Verify employment and respond to payroll/benefits inquiries
  • Maintain employee data in ADP
  • Support HR with special projects and compliance reporting
  • Travel weekly to Griffin, GA as needed for onsite presence
