Overview

SUMMARY:

Responsible for supporting the Project Management Office unit in the execution of project management activities. The Project Analyst will support the PMO Unit functions: project planning and execution, data analysis, cross functional collaboration, documentation and developing and tracking performance metrics.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project Planning & Support: Assist in defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to track project progress, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and report issues to management for timely resolution.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with operations teams, purchasing, and other departments to align project goals with business objectives.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate project documentation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess project success and operational efficiency.
  • Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Knowledge or experience of Manufacturing processes such as assembly, fabrication, paint, welding, or plastics.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present findings and collaborate with teams.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Project Management Certifications (CAPM, PMP, Scrum Master) are a plus (especially in lieu of a degree).
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in project analysis, or process improvement roles preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel/Power BI) and project management software (Microsoft Project, Miro, Wrike, or similar).
