Overview

SUMMARY:

Responsible for supporting the Project Management Office unit in the execution of IT-related project management activities within the Production Strategy Division. The Business Systems Coordinator will support the PMO unit functions: acting as a liaison between IT teams, system implementation and support, data analysis and reporting, documentation and reporting, and process improvement of Production Strategy Processes.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES;

  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between IT teams and production strategy to ensure project alignment with business needs.
  • System Implementation Support: Assist in the deployment of IT systems, including Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) , Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and other digital transformation projects.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor project progress, track key performance metrics, and generate reports to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and escalate IT project roadblocks, coordinate troubleshooting efforts, and ensure timely resolution of technical challenges.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain project documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and compliance reports for IT implementations.
  • Process Improvement: Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and IT-driven process enhancements in manufacturing operations.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in project management tools (Microsoft Project, Wrike, Miro, or similar).
  • Production Control Knowledge such as Production Planning and Bill of Material Planning and other.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to assess project risks, identify solutions, and optimize IT implementations.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple IT projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in IT project coordination, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of IT project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), or other manufacturing IT systems.
