Overview

Job Summary:

  • The Business Intern will have exposure to several business functional areas such as accounting, human resources, corporate planning, finance, planning, information technology, compliance and general administration
  • The goal is to provide the Coop/Intern with a diverse experience where their skills and knowledge of these areas will be enhanced
  • Candidates can be hired in the following departments within Yamaha such at Accounting, Purchasing, Human Resources, Information Technology and Production Strategy or any other business related function

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Support department team members through the life-cycle on various business functions pertaining to the department needs
  • Work on key department project(s)
  • Data entry and analysis of department assigned task
  • Assist with planning day to day tasks
  • Perform various basic office function, such as scanning, coping and answering phones

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Recent college graduate or currently enrolled at a college or university, or technical school and working toward a Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Required to work independently and manage time commitments to meet established service goals
  • Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to be flexible, think critically and work independently
  • Strong organizational, time management and problem solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications at a basic level
