MAU is hiring a Staffing Specialist in Augusta, GA. As a Staffing Specialist, you will be responsible for recruiting, screening, hiring, and supporting associates to meet customer work order specifications while ensuring excellent client service and compliance with employment regulations.

- HR Certification (PHR or SHRM-CP)

- Recruit, screen, interview, hire, counsel, evaluate, and terminate associates
- Collaborate with Recruitment Marketing for ad placement and strategy
- Orient and onboard new hires per client standards
- Administer policies, procedures, and assessments
- Set up pay and bill rates with management approval
- Manage merit, tenure, and incentive increases
- Conduct case management for injured employees
- Attend unemployment and workers’ comp hearings as necessary
- Resolve customer invoicing issues
- Maintain consistent communication and client satisfaction
- Ensure a safe and legally compliant hiring process
- Work environments may include office settings and customer manufacturing facilities
- Use of standard office equipment (computers, phones, copiers, etc.)
- Some client sites may involve exposure to industrial equipment and non-climate-controlled conditions
- Lift 5–15 lbs occasionally
- Stand/walk for up to 8 hours
- Sit for extended periods
- Climb stairs occasionally
- Up to 10% travel required
- Minimal overnight travel
