MAU is hiring a Human Resources Manager in Gainesville, GA. As a Human Resources Manager, you will lead the HR function on-site, ensuring employee engagement, workforce stability, and compliance with labor and safety regulations in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Shift Information
  • Monday to Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Required Education and Experience
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in human resources, employee relations, or a similar HR leadership role
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to deliver training and mentor team members
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial HR
  • SHRM or HRCI certification
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Essential Functions
  • Oversee HR policies and programs including employee relations, onboarding, disciplinary actions, staffing, and training
  • Partner with plant leadership to align HR strategy with business goals
  • Supervise and develop the HR team
  • Manage performance reviews, coaching initiatives, and employee recognition programs
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and leadership
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations
  • Administer HR communications, policies, and handbooks
  • Lead leadership development and workforce planning initiatives
  • Support cross-functional projects and special initiatives
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • On-site at a fast-paced production facility
  • Frequent interaction with employees across shifts and departments
  • Regular exposure to manufacturing conditions including temperature variation
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and navigate production areas
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to use hands for documentation, tools, and communication equipment
  • Must be able to move through the facility including stairs and production zones
  • Clear communication in-person and via radio or phone
Travel
  • Minimal travel required
