Start your new career as an Assembler with MAU in Newnan, GA.
As an Assembler, you will support the production of high-quality electronic and mechanical components by following detailed instructions and using hand tools and equipment to assemble, test, and inspect products.

What We Offer:

  • Temp-to-hire opportunity

  • First shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM; OT on Fridays 6:00 AM–12:00 PM

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to stand for 8–10 hour shifts

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools

  • Flexibility to work in different manufacturing areas as needed

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance

  • Willingness to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment

  • Ability to read and follow schematics and assembly documentation

  • Understanding of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures preferred

What You’ll Do as an Assembler:

  • Assemble products or sub-assemblies using electric drivers, soldering irons, crimpers, welders, and related tools

  • Follow shop orders and production procedures to meet quality standards

  • Attend cross-training and rotate between lines as needed

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards

  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation

  • Report any quality or process issues to supervisors immediately

  • Use schematics and engineering documentation to complete work accurately

  • Perform testing using Hi-pot, DC/AC standards, winders, and crimping machines

  • Exhibit above-average soldering techniques and small part assembly skills

  • Participate in continuous improvement and team collaboration efforts

  • Handle a variety of hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and power tools

  • Accurately document work and follow established company practices
