Overview
SUMMARY:
The Product Strategy Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing Bill of Material Planning, production planning, long lead time part planning and domestic part planning for their specific product line. They will need to study workloads and estimate time required to complete assignments accurately and on time. Responsible for process documentation creation and revision control along with generating training records.
Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and maintains work instructions to document processes and ensure accuracy.
- Provides guidance to subordinates to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
- Directs a staff of non-exempt employees.
- Protects the accuracy of Bill of Materials.
- Manages production sequences are planned within the constraints of Operations.
- Proficient in covering all planning functions during absenteeism.
- Supervises activity revolving around potential impacts regarding domestic or long lead time parts.
- Monitors and tracks employee vacation and absenteeism.
- Exercises judgment in personnel process or procedural areas of concern.
- Advises higher-level management on work-related issues that could cause problems on the assembly line and their impact on productivity and/or the customer.
- Responsible for the accuracy of the monthly production report to Japan.
- Responsible for all system change requests for PYMAC to Japan for their product line.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent communication, Project Management, and interpersonal skills.
Strong Leadership and Organizational Skills.
Self-Motivated, knowledge of Excel, Word, Access, Project, and Power Point. SAP / PYMAC / Inventory Control knowledge desired.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED required.
Two-year degree or equivalent experience in a technical field required.
Manufacturing experience required.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Leadership role.
