What We’re Looking For:
  • Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school OR
  • 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Business-to-business customer service experience - required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, company policies, and sales programs
  • Basic mathematical skills, including calculating discounts, percentages, and commissions
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to meet monthly performance goals
What You’ll Do as an Order Entry Clerk:
  • Review and process orders from internal teams and online platforms with a high degree of accuracy
  • Review and release sales quotes, communicating any issues promptly
  • Respond to incoming calls and emails regarding order inquiries and status updates
  • Collaborate with Sales, Credit, and Logistics teams to resolve order-related issues
  • Research inventory, backorders, and order discrepancies to provide accurate information
  • Process credits, debits, order changes, and cancellations
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of products, processes, and promotions to assist customers effectively
  • Pull and review daily and weekly order-related reports
  • Resolve basic and complex order issues using structured problem-solving techniques
  • Create, update, and manage Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations
  • Provide backup support to team members and assist with training new employees
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
