MAU is hiring a Technical Territory Sales Manager for our client in Penn Yan, NY. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will maintain and generate business by building customer relationships, managing the full sales cycle, and driving revenue growth within assigned territories. This role is open to fully remote candidates and is a direct-hire opportunity.

- 10+ years of experience in a customer-facing position (Sales, Technical Sales, Technical Service)
- 5+ years of experience in the electronic component or semiconductor packaging industries
- AA, BS, or BA degree, or advanced technical degree preferred
- Ability to lead and work on internal and external cross-functional teams to close new business and service existing accounts
- Ability to build strategic relationships with customers at all levels within the organization to achieve or exceed business objectives
- Ability to communicate the value of products to customers across different markets and segments
- Ability to self-direct work schedule based on evolving environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, CRM software, and SAP
- Ability to work, communicate, and influence in a consensus-based culture
- Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen
- Build strategic relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders through presentations, onsite visits, and quarterly business calls
- Generate and qualify leads through in-field activities, cold calls, and targeted visits
- Grow sales pipeline to meet annual targets
- Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through sales closure and support
- Develop strategic account plans and business plans for assigned accounts
- Communicate effectively with internal and external technical teams
- Research and support promotional efforts including tradeshows, technical events, and advertising
- Lead sales projects to business closure by guiding cross-functional teams toward high-probability opportunities
- Budget and forecast sales for assigned accounts on a quarterly basis
- Plan and execute quarterly sales activities and prospecting cadence through scheduled customer visits
- Stay up to date on economic and industry trends through customer interactions and external sources
- Maintain compliance with company Code of Business Conduct, policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
- Act according to company values and behaviors
- Serve as a role model and mentor to others
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Travel within North America up to 50% of the time
- May include lifting, standing, or sitting for extended periods and exposure to varying physical conditions
