Start your new career as a Quality Inspector with MAU at John Deere in Grovetown, GA. As a Quality Inspector, you will inspect parts and assemblies, perform measurements and testing, and help ensure products meet manufacturing and quality standards. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

What We’re Looking For:
  • At least 1 year of mechanic and inspection experience
  • Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes and inspection procedures
  • Ability to read part and assembly prints and manufacturing specifications
  • Experience using precision measurement equipment and layout procedures
  • Ability to set up and/or operate CMM equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to create clear and concise inspection reports
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
What You’ll Do as a Quality Inspector:
  • Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure adherence to specifications
  • Work from part and assembly prints and manufacturing specifications
  • Perform investigations, gather data, and report findings to support corrective and preventive actions
  • Measure relationships of features on parts and assemblies using various measurement tools and layout procedures
  • Set up and operate CMM equipment for inspections
  • Prepare reports with findings and recommendations for corrective actions
  • Perform destructive and non-destructive testing as needed
  • Plot data on graphs and charts
  • Disassemble and assemble parts for testing and inspections
  • Operate machines and test equipment
  • Perform miscellaneous duties related to quality inspection
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing job duties
