MAU is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for our client in the Greater Savannah, GA area.
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will repair, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment to support safe and efficient manufacturing operations. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information
• Rotating schedule between 1st and 2nd shift every 4 weeks
• 8-hour shifts with overtime and occasional weekend work as needed
Required Education and Experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1–3 years of job-related experience preferred, including skills, experience, or specialized training in industrial maintenance disciplines
Preferred Education and Experience
• 2-year Technical Degree in Industrial Technology, Industrial Electricity, or Industrial Electronics preferred
• Experience with electricity and electrical applications
• Experience with programmable logic controls (PLC)
• Experience with heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems
• Experience with plumbing and pipefitting
• Experience with welding, pneumatics, mechanical systems, machine tool practices, industrial machinery, hydraulics, schematics, CNC programming, robotics, and servos
• Multi-skilled maintenance experience preferred
• Experience in automotive manufacturing or other highly automated production environments preferred
General Requirements
• Perform multi-craft maintenance duties involving electrical, mechanical, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot production equipment issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Work closely with team leaders and maintenance personnel in a collaborative, hands-on environment
• Ability to proactively identify issues and respond with urgency in a production setting
• Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, layouts, and specifications
• Ability to operate powered equipment according to company standards
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Domestic and international travel may be required

Essential Functions
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs to minimize equipment downtime
• Monitor equipment startup and identify potential issues before failures occur
• Support automated systems including robotics and AGV equipment
• Visually inspect and listen to machines and equipment to identify causes of malfunctions
• Dismantle machines and equipment using hand tools and power tools to access problem areas
• Repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components of production equipment
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, control devices, material handling systems, and automated lubrication systems
• Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment, or defects
• Remove and replace worn or defective components using blueprints, diagrams, and service manuals
• Realign and adjust motors, gearboxes, clutches, and brakes using hand tools and diagrams
• Locate, measure, cut, thread, and install damaged air and hydraulic piping
• Repair broken metal parts using cutting, brazing, soldering, welding equipment, grinders, and hand tools
• Modify computer-controlled motion systems, including robots, using PLCs, robot controllers, and teach pendants
• Assist maintenance specialists and management with sketches and computer-generated designs of machine components
• Set up and operate metalworking equipment such as lathes, drill presses, and grinders to fabricate repair parts
• Start machines and equipment to test operation following repairs
• Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements
• Meet additional responsibilities as assigned

Physical Demands
