Objective

The Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and safety of electrical systems within the HPDC facility through troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role supports electrical components and systems including high-voltage equipment, PLCs, automation systems, and power distribution networks.

- Multiple Shifts Available:
- First Shift | Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Second Shift | Monday to Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering
- 3 years of experience in automation and control systems
- 3 years of experience in die casting or automotive manufacturing
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, PLCs, automation, and control systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to execute activities according to plans and priorities while responding proactively and effectively to variations
- Ability to analyze data using logical frameworks to identify patterns and solutions
- Ability to rapidly learn new skills and adapt to changing circumstances
- Ability to identify potential risks and implement precautionary actions
- Knowledge and ability to streamline processes to achieve efficiency gains
- Proficiency with MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Projects
- SAP PM module knowledge required
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all electrical systems and equipment
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues with casting machines, furnaces, and other production equipment to minimize downtime
- Perform repairs and replace faulty electrical components while ensuring repairs meet quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and system performance
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify opportunities for electrical and process improvements
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies while promoting a safe work environment
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of electrical spare parts and maintenance supplies
- Provide training and technical support to maintenance technicians and other staff as required
- Assist with the commissioning and installation of new equipment
- Perform other duties as required
