- High school diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of experience in fiberglass repair, composite manufacturing, mold maintenance, or a related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of fiberglass materials, resins, gel coats, fillers, and repair techniques
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, sanders, and polishing equipment
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, specifications, and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices and proper PPE usage
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment
- Reliable attendance and ability to meet production schedules and deadlines
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Experience repairing fiberglass molds in marine, automotive, aerospace, or composite manufacturing industries
- Certification or vocational training in composites, fiberglass repair, or a related trade
- Experience with mold finishing, polishing, and surface preparation techniques
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and inspection equipment
- Forklift or overhead crane experience
- Inspect molds for damage, wear, defects, and structural issues
- Repair cracks, chips, voids, and surface imperfections using fiberglass materials and repair techniques
- Apply fiberglass, resin, gel coat, fillers, and other repair materials as needed
- Sand, polish, and finish mold surfaces to meet required specifications
- Perform preventative maintenance and mold refurbishment activities
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, sanders, and polishing equipment
- Maintain accurate repair records and documentation
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with quality standards
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and support manufacturing goals
- Follow company procedures to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned
