As a Legal Assistant, you will provide executive-level administrative support to an in-house attorney by managing legal documentation, proofreading communications, coordinating electronic filing, and ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced professional environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

What We're Looking For:
  • High school diploma
  • 3+ years of experience in legal assistance or executive assistance
  • Experience supporting attorneys or executives in a professional office environment
  • Strong experience with electronic filing (e-filing) and legal documentation
  • Outstanding written communication skills with excellent grammar, spelling, punctuation, and proofreading abilities
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and adapt to a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
What You'll Do as a Legal Assistant:
  • Provide executive-level administrative support to the in-house attorney
  • Proofread and edit emails, legal documents, newsletters, presentations, and other communications for grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting, and clarity
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documentation and confidential files
  • Perform electronic filing (e-filing) and maintain accurate legal records
  • Assist with drafting, formatting, and finalizing legal and corporate documents
  • Manage document organization, filing systems, and administrative workflows
  • Prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Serve as a trusted second set of eyes by ensuring all communications and documents are polished before distribution
  • Provide additional administrative and executive support as needed
