Start your new career as a Machine Operator with MAU at our client in Thomason, GA. As a Machine Operator, you will inspect and operate production equipment, perform quality inspections, and ensure products are manufactured according to established work instructions and quality standards.

What We’re Looking For:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Successful completion of the training program
  • 1–3 years of machine operating experience
  • Ability to pass a drug screening
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
What You’ll Do as a Machine Operator:
  • Inspect machines and make necessary adjustments before and during operation
  • Set the machine counter at the beginning of each shift
  • Operate machines according to established work instructions
  • Verify the correct raw materials, packaging, and identification numbers are being used, including lot numbers, operator numbers, and UDI labels when applicable
  • Perform line clearance procedures according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Conduct in-process visual inspections, measurements, physical counts, and manual inspections of finished products to identify defects
  • Accurately document inspection results
  • Notify the Material Handler when material changes are needed
  • Verify the correct material is loaded after each roll change
  • Report product defects and machine maintenance needs to the Maintenance team or Supervisor
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
