- Ability to pass a hands-on mechanical aptitude assessment, demonstrating proficiency with common hand tools, basic mechanical skills, and the ability to read a tape measure.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience using hand tools in a manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, or construction environment. Experience with drills, impact drivers, screwdrivers, wrenches, ratchets, pliers, and other common hand tools is preferred.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and accurately follow work instructions, visual aids, assembly diagrams, and standard operating procedures to assemble products safely and correctly while meeting quality and production standards.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify quality issues, follow written and verbal instructions, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Ability to operate hand tools efficiently
- Ability to connect wire harnesses efficiently
- Ability to learn and rotate through all production and support roles
- Ability to occasionally move to accomplish tasks and from one worksite to another
- Ability to operate machinery and/or power tools
- Work cooperatively within a team environment
- Flexible work hours to account for overtime as needed
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Start-up, operate, changeover, shut down, and perform preventive maintenance on assigned production equipment (such as production line equipment, forklifts, other power equipment, etc.)
- Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with the Company Safety Policy
- Perform manual tasks such as loading and supplying production line items, reworking product, and loading conveyors
- Quality Assurance and test compliance according to Company and/or designated facility standards
- Inspect your own work as well as that of other associates
- Provide general plant, production line, and facility clean-up (5S)
- Identify and recommend continuous improvement ideas
- Perform other tasks as required
