Start your new career as a Material Handler with MAU in Newnan, GA. As a Material Handler, you will move aluminum extrusions from storage racks to the staging area, supporting production while maintaining a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

- At least 1 year of manufacturing or production experience with a stable work history
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and use a tape measure to 1/32 inch
- Ability to read written instructions and follow verbal directions
- Experience using a hand pallet jack or motorized pallet jack
- Willingness to cross-train in multiple production areas
- Experience with small hand tools preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety policies and procedures
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Move aluminum extrusions from storage racks to the staging area for production
- Read and verify measurements using a tape measure
- Lift, push, pull, and move materials weighing 50+ pounds
- Load, unload, and transport materials using hand or motorized pallet jacks
- Perform frequent reaching, grasping, handling, and lifting throughout the shift
- Safely handle small parts and large materials
- Wear required PPE, including steel-toe boots, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, Kevlar sleeves, and long pants
- Follow all safety procedures and report workplace hazards
- Support production by maintaining an organized and efficient work area
- Cross-train in other production tasks as needed
