What We're Looking For:
- Previous mechanic experience preferred
- Must be mechanically inclined with experience using mechanic tools and equipment
- Experience performing preventative maintenance, including tires, brakes, and fluid services, on golf cars or similar powered vehicles preferred
- Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of common mechanical practices and maintenance procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while following established procedures and safety guidelines
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to frequently lift 30+ pounds
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
- Desire to work safely, win, work together, and work hard
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
What You'll Do as a Golf Cart Mechanic:
- Rebuild golf cars to customer specifications
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on golf cars and similar powered vehicles
- Install accessories such as lights and lift kits
- Wash and paint golf cars
- Perform general yard duties as needed
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to complete work safely and efficiently
- Support continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, and cost reduction
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Bring and use personal tools/toolbox during work hours
- Track parts and materials needed to complete assigned work
- Complete additional duties as assigned by the team leader or supervisor
