- Ability to accurately and consistently follow recipes
- Strong work ethic and ability to multitask in a small team environment
- Passion for baking and producing high-quality products
- Reliability and flexibility, including availability for early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods of 8+ hours per shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in a warm, fast-paced kitchen environment
- Arm strength and endurance to knead and mix dough by hand when needed
- Willingness to perform cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes
- Prepare and bake bread, pastries, and other baked goods according to established recipes and daily menu needs
- Measure, mix, and knead dough by hand or with mixers and other baking equipment
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure consistent, high-quality products
- Maintain a clean and organized baking area by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and properly storing ingredients
- Follow food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Assist with inventory management by stocking supplies and reporting shortages
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate preparation and support smooth operations
- Occasionally assist customers and answer questions about baked goods as needed
